Best outfits from ‘Gossip Girl’ 2.0 season one (so far)

Hello, Upper East Siders, New York’s most elite high school kids are back better than ever. The hit television series Gossip Girl finally resurrected nearly eight years after the last episode aired, giving viewers a glimpse of a new generation of Manhattan’s richest (and most empowered) teens.

Much like its original counterpart, the HBO Max reboot still keeps fashion front and center. While there are many stylistic parallels between the two series, the new show offers a refreshing twist. Designed by costume designer Eric Daman, from the OG series, Gossip Girl 2.0 serves us a mix of nostalgia and design with looks ranging from daring silhouettes to totally glamorous school uniforms.

The midseason finale just kicked off Thursday, August 12, but don’t worry, the show will resume in the fall in November. In the meantime, browse through some of our favorite looks that we absolutely adore so far, below, and be sure to check back later when the first season ends.
