Manalapan Police The ministry reported three incidents involving motor vehicles that occurred on August 26.

At 6:45 a.m. on August 26, a resident reported that strangers had stolen a 2014
Mercedes Benz E350 valued at around $ 15,000 from a Gramercy Lane
residence. Gramercy Lane is next to Sweetmans Lane.

At 9:40 a.m. on August 26, a resident reported that strangers entered a vehicle
while parked in the driveway of a house on Rifkin Court. Rifkin Court is off Smithburg Road. The individuals entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a pair of sunglasses valued at $ 200.

At 10:05 a.m. on August 26, a resident reported that strangers entered a
residence and vehicles on Rifkin Court. Rifkin Court is off Smithburg Road. The individuals entered an open garage door and then entered unlocked vehicles which were parked in the garage. No item was reported as missing.

The district of Monmouth, in partnership with the Monmouth Bar Association, is hosting an art exhibit at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Road, Manalapan, on Constitution and Citizenship Day.

The exhibit features submissions from elementary school students who have been selected as winners of the 2021 Monmouth Vicinage Law Day art competition, according to a press release.

The works will be exhibited in the library lobby in September. The exhibition is free and open to the public during library opening hours, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

This year, the Monmouth Vicinage Law Day 2021 Art Competition received 71 art submissions from seven local elementary schools. The winning artwork expressed the themes of unity and fairness.

The community is invited at an outdoor concert, “An Afternoon of Song,” with Bethe Burns and Vic Schioppo on September 18 from 4 to 5:30 pm (rainy date, September 19, from 4 to 5:30 pm).

This musical program will be presented by the Center Players of Freehold and the Freehold Township Heritage Society Arts Program. It will be performed on stage at the Oakley Farm & Museum Outer Pavilion, 189 Wemrock Road, Freehold Township.

Spectators can bring their own chairs as the seats will be on the lawn. The show is for all ages. There is no charge, but a suggested donation of $ 5 would be appreciated and all donations will go to the Heritage Society. Tours of the historic farm museum will be available.
